Hey christine, Feels great to be back. I was just starting to get used to being on tour when it ended. but it felt a little like being in suspended animation. I like having my own room to sleep in. And, yes I saw Ponyo. It was very strange. A little childish. Definitely a rental.
Haha, I thought the same things about Ponyo. Miyazaki movies are my favorite movies, and I can handle strangeness, but I think I prefer his more epic stories like Spirited Away or Princess Mononoke. The fantasy in those movies reminds me of dreams I might have, but I didn't feel that as much with Ponyo. Or maybe it was just a matter of not relating to younger characters as much.

Hey! The Sufjan tour is over now, right? How does it feel to finally be free from crazy Sufjan fans? Oh...wait a second...
